Begin with the person
The most useful starting point is understanding you: how you live, what you want to change, and which details matter most. Your priorities give the project its direction.

THE VIRTUS BUILDERS STORY
From our hometown.
To the home you envision.
Our story begins in Utica, Ohio. It’s where we’re from, and it’s the starting point for a business that has been working here in Central Ohio since 2004.
For more than two decades, home has been at the center of our work. It’s a place to put down roots, welcome people in, and make room for what comes next. That is the perspective we bring to building and renovation: the finished space should feel connected to the people who live there.
Today, Virtus Builders works across the full range of residential projects. We build high-end single-family homes, take on renovations and additions, and help with the smaller improvements and handyman work that keep a home feeling complete. From a carefully finished detail to a full design-build, we see each project as part of someone’s larger story.
Our Utica roots give that work a personal meaning. Central Ohio is home to us, too. When we talk about creating a place to settle in, gather together, or start a new chapter, we understand why those decisions matter.
Tell us about your homeWHAT WE BELIEVE
A home should feel considered
in the details—and personal
in the way it lives.
That belief connects everything we do, from a new custom home to the work that makes an existing one feel more like yours.
THE WAY WE SEE THE WORK
Experience with a personal focus.
Consider the whole home
A single room belongs to a larger picture. Layout, light, materials, and the connection between spaces all influence how a home feels and functions.
Give the details their due
Thoughtful proportions, well-chosen finishes, and practical improvements shape the everyday experience of a home. The smaller decisions deserve attention.
